Our Story
Founded in 1970 by William Robert Haskell Sr., Robert Haskell Construction is a family-owned and operated business based in Rowayton, Connecticut, serving Fairfield County for over three generations.
Today, the company is led by Robert Haskell Jr., who brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. He is now joined by his son, Will Haskell, continuing the family’s direct involvement in every project. To date we have completed more than 30 custom homes and over 75 residential renovations and remodels across Fairfield County.
We specialize in custom home construction and high-quality renovations, taking a hands-on approach and working closely with homeowners and design teams to deliver well-executed homes built with care and attention to detail.

Robert Haskell

Robert Haskell Jr. was raised in Rowayton, Connecticut and began working at Haskell Construction in 1986, learning the business firsthand from the ground up. After decades of hands-on experience managing projects throughout Fairfield County, he became Owner and President in 2015.
A graduate of Bentley University, Robert combines practical field knowledge with strong business oversight. He has personally managed more than 20 custom home builds and over 50 renovations, maintaining a reputation for careful planning, clear communication, and attention to detail on every project.

Will Haskell

Also a Rowayton, Connecticut native, Will Haskell graduated from Bates College in 2021 before beginning his career in New York City, where he worked in operations at a fast-growing technology startup. In that role, he focused on systems, efficiency, and scaling processes — experience he now brings to the family business.Recently joining Robert Haskell Construction, Will represents the next generation of leadership. He is focused on building on the company’s long-standing reputation while introducing modern systems, thoughtful growth, and a fresh perspective to how projects are managed and delivered.
